As I finish all my last bit of thanksgiving turkey and all the trimmings and get ready to embark on my Christmas shopping for others, I had to get my list ready for Santa Claus for my Charlotte Bobcats. My list isn’t very long but it’s stuff that a lot of Bobcats fans have been asking for.

1. A 20 point-a-game scorer.

Since the team has been around all of season plus, the Bobcats haven’t had a guy who could take a game over and score all over the floor. Nothing against Kareem Rush (who is the best shooter on the team) or Gerald Wallace (he’s playing the best basketball of his career), but the team needs a guy who can do both on the floor at the same time. The team needs a guy who can take the big shot and a go-to-guy in clutch time. The city of Charlotte hasn’t seen a guy who can score a consistant 20 point a game guy since Glen Rice was making all-star games for the Charlotte Hornets.

2. The ablity to finish games off in the Fourth Quarter.

There has been too many times in games where the Bobcats have been up in the 4th and some how let the lead slip away. For those who didn’t watch the game against Boston the other night, besides blowing another lead they let Paul Pierce go right to basket without any idea of defense. Bernie has preached defense from the team’s inception but at the key moments of games, it has been non-existant. I have lost count of leads lost by the Cats over the last year and a quarter.

3. Can I please watch my Bobcats on DirectTV.

Too many nights I have been home and see the Bobcats on DirectTV schedule and I turn to the channel and it says it’s being blacked out in Charlotte and the other NBA City there playing against. I payed $169 to see a black channel and I don’t mean BET, Santa could you please tell Bob Johnson that you can’t fight DirectTV or any Satalite company by making us pay for Time Warner Cable per month so I can watch my Bobcats. And besides has anyone seen that News-14 broadcasts? They look like a 1980’s movie footage that moves and scores points on the screen. It’s horrible to watch, please someone who has watched it please understand my pain.
